My sweet baby is One Year Old! What a precious addition she has been to our family.
My Hadder-Bug,
You are officially One Year Old! This past year has been a roller coaster of emotion, let me tell you. I have heard it said that when you have a child, it is as if you heart is walking around outside your body...and boy is that true. We never knew we could love you this much...and our love for you grows deeper and deeper every day.
When we first brought you home from the hospital, your daddy was so afraid he was going to break you. You were so tiny and fragile. As we watched you grow, we soon realized you weren't as fragile as one might think...you are pretty resilient :)
We took you for you 12 month check-up today and here are your stats:
- Weight: 19lbs 4 oz Percentile: 27th %
- Height: 29 1/2 inches Percentile: 59th%
- Head: 45 1/2 cm Percentile: 60th%
You and I have worked on pointing to our "noses" and you can correctly identify mommy's nose now! I am so proud of you!
You are so so so close to walking! You can walk circles around all the furniture, and you can even walk holding on to my fingers! No rush, but whenever you are ready, Mommy will be there cheering you on with my camera in tote!
Your vocabulary is as follows:
- Momma

You know exactly what you want and you don't budge...You are a pretty easy going baby, but I think you might have a stubborn streak. (I'm pretty sure you get that from your daddy; however, he may disagree)
You have the most infectious laugh! You have also started mimicking Mommy's laugh now. When you hear me laugh, you will look at me, open you mouth wide, and try to laugh like me...it's pretty cute :)
You have this deep belly chuckle and Mommy and Daddy can't help but smile at you. You giggle often, especially when you finally attain an object you have been reaching for.
You are definitely a bottomless pit! You Eat Everything! (I think you get that from your Mommy) There really hasn't been anything you won't eat or don't like to eat, except for the Gerber Baby Jar food titled: Chicken and Stars....which honestly I don't blame you...it looks pretty nasty.
You do have a sweet tooth! You love everything chocolate, coffee, whip creme, creme cheese, and anything else Nana decides to give you a lick of. :)

May God grant you peace, in the midst of a storm.
May God give you strength, even when your forlorn.
May you answer the door, when Jesus comes knocking.
May wisdom guide you, when your mouth is talking.
May discretion protect you and keep you pure.
May you never stumble, or fall for a lure.

May the world not ensnare, or change who you are.
May the light that's within you, shine like the stars.
May angels surround you, body, spirit, mind.
May favor and peace, be yours to find.
May rejection and pain never reach you.
May your spirit grow bold, for what you are called to.
May you grow up to serve Him, all of your days.
May He lead you and guide you, in all of your ways.
May his hand bless you future, with friendships that last.
May you cherish your youth, and not grow up too fast.
