Branson

Ross and I had the wonderful opportunity to get away for a couple of days, just the two of us! We had such a great time in Branson.

Here is the hotel we stayed at...

I love my husband more today then I did when we started dating almost 10 years ago. Even more important than that, I really LIKE him. He is my best friend, my husband, the father of my child, and the one whom my soul loves.

Starting our day...

Now he's happy...

Now I'm happy...

We got all dressed up and went out for a special dinner...it was so yummy!!...

Driving down to Lake Tablerock before heading home...

Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch...

My mom was gracious enough to come stay with Hadley while Ross and I went to Branson. Hadley loves her Nana and was so excited to see her when she pulled in the drive way.

Here are a few pictures from their outings that my mom took...

with a toy...

with an icee...

and being cute...

Thank you Mom for staying with Hadley. Ross and I had such a wonderful time together. I only cried once or twice, because I had to leave my Hadley bug at home. Not bad for leaving my child for an overnight trip for the first time in one year!

Dinner

Tonight I made spaghetti and for the first time, my little family of three, ate the SAME thing, on our wonderful new outdoor dining set.

My spaghetti was a hit...

After dinner, Hadley played on her new picnic table that daddy put together for her...

(it's actually her birthday present...ssshhhh!)

She is a daredevil! I really don't think she is going to afraid of much...she loves climbing on everything!

And after all that outdoor playing...bath time...

Summer Lovin'

Summer has officially begun! We have been super busy this summer and lovin' every minute of it. Here are a few things we have been up to thus far:

The Tulsa Zoo...

Hadley and Mommy playing outside...

The Pool! Hadley is my little fish! We spend a lot of time here :)

For some reason, Hadley enjoys crawling and pulling up on the toilet. Maybe potty training will be super easy...

We moved from our apartment into a rent house! We are so excited to have a yard and a garage and a neighborhood pool! (I will post pictures of the house once I get everything in it's rightful place.)

Hadley helping her daddy tape before we paint the bedroom...

I love when my nephews come and stay with me. Joshua Reuben spent a few nights with us a couple weeks ago and we just had to visit the Oklahoma Aquarium.

Hadley and Joshua being silly...

Looking for Nemo and Dori...

Of course, everytime Joshy comes, he loves playing Ross' "old" video games..."old" as in Nintendo 64.

I love how Joshy doesn't even flinch no matter how much Hadley is crawling all over him. They are pretty sweet together...

Nana with her grandbabies playin' and blowing bubbles....

I am loving my summer spending time with family. swimming, going to the lake, and most importantly enjoying all the time Ross, Hadley, and I get to spend together before he goes back to school in August!

Fathers Day 2011

Ross is so special to Hadley and I, that we decided to give him a "daddy day" weekend. Today, Hadley and I took him anywhere he wanted to go...

@ Bass Pro Shops looking at the fish tank...

Hadley watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...(a little random in this post, but cute nonetheless)

Mommy and Hadley eating cheese puffs while Daddy picks out his "Daddy Day" grill at Sears...

Hadley was such a good girl while we were shopping. Her and Elmo are pals...

Watching Daddy cook some amazingly tasty BBQ chicken on the grill...

Dinner @ Genghis Grill with Janelle and Andrew...

It was sooo good...

10 Months

Our Hadders...

You are now 10 months old. You get more and more beautiful every day! My favorite family of three...

You have a total of 6 teeth now. You are starting to eat more solid foods. You love mandarin oranges, cheese puffs, popsicles, and anything chocolate. (especially hostess cupcakes with creme :)

You have officially entered the stage where you put EVERYTHING into your mouth. Mommy and Daddy have had to do the baby Heimlich maneuver on you SEVERAL times. You scare mommy every time that happens!

You have been crawling for over a month now, and it is crazy! You pull up on everything and have even begun to "take steps" while holding on. We are so proud of you!!

Your favorite toys at the moment are a spatula, the remote controls, and of course, your little mirror. You love to be where ever mommy and daddy are. We just moved into our new rent house and it has wood floors. Shortly after I leave the room, I hear the pitter patter of hands and knees scurrying across the floor. It is such a sweet sound.

You love to talk. AND you love to talk LOUD! I'm afraid you got your mommy's volume. You like to squeal and laugh a lot, and I think you are just enjoying life as you know it!

You are such a good baby. Now don't get me wrong, you do have your moments; However, for the most part, you are a sweet natured baby. Sometimes you are so well behaved, I forget you are with me in the shopping basket at Target. Well I don't forget you are with me, as much as I forget you are only 10 months old. Mommy loves taking you places with her. We are going to be best buds...just like Mommy and Nana are. :)

You are a mover and a squirmer! You love to jump and play. You are not afraid of heights, so I think you are going to make an amazing cheerleader. You also are not afraid of flipping over, so you would make an amazing gymnast as well!

You are quite the water baby. Ever since you were born, you have loved bath time. Now that summer has come, we have a beautiful beach entrance pool in our neighborhood, and you just can't get enough! You love to swim! I have to admit, last week for the first time, I dunked you. I counted to three, blew in your face, and dunked you under the water. You were such a trooper! You didn't cry at all! (or swallow any water!) I was so proud of you. Mommy and Daddy want you to learn how to swim and not be afraid of the water.

I love that your hair is growing! It is getting so curly too! I love it! You are absolutely beautiful!

You love to sing. If Mommy starts belting out a song, you will start singing along with me. We usually sing a lot during breakfast...it starts our day off great!

You are still doing your "fake" cough. When Mommy and Daddy cough or sneeze, a few seconds later you will reply with a cute little "cough"...it makes Mommy and Daddy feel special. :)

You are starting to tell me what you want using the sign language we have been working on. You know exactly what you want, and you are getting very good at letting us know.

Our Hadders...You are one precious girl. Your smile lights up a room! As we watch you grow up, and learn new things every day, we can't help but fall more and more in love with you. You are special and don't ever forget it. We love you!

Love, Mommy and Daddy
