4 Months

My precious Hadster! You are 4 months old! You had your 4 months doctor's appointment today and you were not happy. You were all smiles until it came time for your shots. Mommy felt so sad that you were hurting and she couldn't do anything to help. We sure did cuddle after the nurse got done though.

You weigh 14 lbs 4 oz and are 24 1/2 inches tall. You are in the 65% for weight and the 60% for height.

We just set up your first Christmas tree and you love looking at all the lights. After your shots today, we came home and you and I cuddled on a blanket under the tree. You have a beautiful red stocking with your name on it.

You are still working on rolling over. Laying on your back, you can roll your legs and hip over to your stomach but you are still having trouble rolling over that bottom arm.

You are grabbing everything now...including mommy's hair! You are starting to grab your toes but you don't hold onto them very long yet.

You are so beautiful mommy can't take her eyes off of you! Your eyes sparkle and shine. Your daddy is so in love with you and you already have him wrapped around your little finger!

You are still the best little sleeper!

You are about to start eating cereal! I can't believe you are already old enough to start eating (other than drinking milk)...especially with a spoon!

I love my sweet Hadley girl. Don't grow up too fast! Please stay mommy and daddy's little girl forever! We love you so much!

Affair Of The Heart II

This past Friday, my mom, Hadley, and I went to the Affair of the Heart in Tulsa. WOW! I never knew how much I loved craft shows until I had a little baby girl to shop for! :)

I got a bunch of cute headbands/bows for Hadley, and a couple of Christmas presents that I can't show yet! Gigi bought Hadley the cute zebra hat. My mom bought some wonderful jewelry pieces and a lot of other neat things. (I didn't get a picture of her findings.)

I am most proud of one of my findings...the suitcase! $10!! It is so cute and I can't wait to use it in photos! Keep checking back because I will be posting some very soon!

I will say the ONE thing that caught every one's eye was......HADLEY! I can't tell you how many people stopped to stare or comment when they saw her. I got many "WOW's" ..."She is Beautiful"..."Look at those cheeks!"..."I will take her as payment!"...I couldn't even make it down one aisle without several people stopping me so they could look at her!

I was holding Hadley in my arms with her head on my shoulders, and I started to hear some women cackling behind me...I turned around and ALL of them were cooing/waving/smiling at my Hadley girl.

I'm sure many parents say this about their children, but I really think my baby may be the most wonderful, beautiful, happy baby in the whole world...I'm just saying :)

A Night On The Town...

Thursday night, Ross, Hadley, my mom, and I went to downtown Jenks for the "Lights On" Event. All the quaint antique shops stay open late, serve cookies and hot apple cider, and all the Christmas lights get turned on for the first time this season! We all had such a good time. I love the holiday season!

Our Little Bear

The first, and probably only time, she will sit in Santa's lap without crying :)

One little girl asked if she could PET Hadley :)

My Cup Runneth Over

Hadley Joy definitely lives up to her name...she is pure joy in our lives. I feel so blessed to be her mommy. Every time I look at her, I fall in love all over again...my cup runneth over!

A couple of weeks ago, we took Hadley to a park here in Tulsa to take pictures. I know I posted a lot of them, but there are too many beautiful pictures of my Hadley girl to just narrow them down to one or two. Enjoy...

Home Is Where The Heart Is...

Home is where the heart is....and my heart belongs to Ross and Hadley. I am so incredibly blessed to have these two in my life.

This weekend, we went "home" to spend time with my family. My parents have created such a wonderful, open, loving, enjoyable, and relaxing place to be. My desire is to create a "home" for Hadley, that even when she is grown, married, and has children of her own...she will still want to come "home" to visit.

This weekend, we all got together on Saturday to eat, work a 1000 piece puzzle, and make nut wreath's.

Joshua was excited to participate in the wreath making; however, I think he was more excited about using the hot glue gun :)

I love how much he loves her.
