Toy Story 3 On Ice

I have wonderful memories from my childhood, and I want to give Hadley wonderful memories as well! Ross and I took her to her first "icecapades" show...Toy Story 3 On Ice! We had such a great time! I know Hadley probably wont remember this experience specifically, but I definitely will. I loved watching her more than the show itself! (However, I enjoyed the show too :)

Before the show began...

So excited! Can't hardly wait!...

We had to get Hadley a snow cone in a Jessie cup....

I just had to have some cotton candy, and we got this hat with our purchase!...

(I know what you are thinking, Hadley isn't suppose to give "those" looks until she is 13...I guess we are starting early :)

So daddy put on the hat...aawwww....my two lovies...

It's not necessarily the alien with three eyes that she doesn't want on her head...she doesn't really like wearing hats in general...she thinks it funnier when we put them on and she continuously takes them off....

To finish off the evening, we had a POOP EXPLOSION and she had to walk out of the building and ride home in nothing but her diaper. She was one tired girl....

Here are the videos I took from this evening. As you watch them, and begin to "hear" something other than the performers, just remember, it was loud and the songs were fun to sing along too! :) I particularly love the one where Hadley starts "dancing"...so precious!

California 2011: Friday, July 29

Friday was another busy day on vacation. We started off the day with a manicure/pedicure with all the girls!

The bride being pampered...

Krystina isn't enjoying it very much...can't you tell?...

Mom and Grandma enjoying the pampering as well...

The Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner....

Penny and Hadley walking...

I'm all about the photo opp's....

Nana and Papa playing with their grandbabies...

Now that we have moved, John and Ross don't get to see each other as often, so when they do see each other, they can't get enough!...

Being "Normal"...

My broder!

The Rehearsal was on Hadley's birthday, so Scott and Courtney were so thoughtful and sweet when they brought out a special Jippee cake and sang Happy Birthday to my baby!

The Great State Fair of Oklahoma 2011

The Great State Fair of Oklahoma was in town, so it was definitely a must on our weekend agenda. Friday night we hung out and ate dinner with Poppy. He fried us up some delicious shrimp...it was so yummy!

Saturday, we went to watch my Joshua Reuben play some soccer. John is coaching Joshy's soccer team, and they both did such a wonderful job! Sitting on the sideline in my folding camp chair, I realized that this is my calling...I am so cut out to be a "Soccer Mom"...I love it!

Hadley was super excited to watch her cousin play...

Coach Juan and his kittens...because coaching 1st graders can be equivalent to herding cats...

Hadley shared her bow with Papa...what a doll!

The cheering section....

On Sunday, my whole family went to the GREAT STATE FAIR OF OKLAHOMA!!! This is one of my favorite things about fall! I look forward to fair food so much. Here is a list of everything consumed that day by Ross and I: turkey leg, indian tacos (x2), lemonade (x2), jug of root beer, cheese on a stick (x2), corn dogs (x2), funnel cake, cheesecake on a stick, and that is all that I can remember...so YUMMY!

my little hambino....

Walking into the building of cars, I told Joshua to pick out his most favorite car out of them all, and we will tell his daddy that that's what he wants for his birthday...he got super excited and said, "Ok, now which one is the safest?"

Krystina, a.k.a, the animal whisperer, got the kangaroo to come to her so she could pet it...

The llama did not come so willingly, so she put a headlock on it so she could get a picture...

Nana, Papa, and Fried Chips...

I love the Fair! Now that I live in Tulsa, I get the best of both worlds, because the Fair is coming here next week! We bought tickets to Toy Story on Ice! I'm so excited to take Hadley...I think she is going to love it!
