Bike Debut

Thank you Laura and John for my amazing birthday present...my bike! I just got it in last week because it was out of stock! I knew that if I got a bike I would need somewhere for Hadley to ride. I figured she was a little small to ride on the handlebars...and the "child seat" that we bought and semi attached to the bike was a little scary....so we opted for the trailer, and I am so glad we did!

Ross, Hadders, and I went to Riverside this evening for our very first bike ride! It was so much fun! Hadley had her toys and her water and we were set!

I'm definitely looking forward to the fall and the many bike rides in our future!

swimming

Paul and Natalie and the kids came over to swim last night. All the girls are so cute in their matching bathing suits. :)

Dane's "jumping" in is pretty much just a belly flop...

july 4th weekend

SATURDAY:

On Saturday, Laura and John brought the boys up to Tulsa so they could spend a few nights with their cousin. Hadley loves it when the boys are here. She is just fascinated with them, and they keep her well entertained. They also love on her so much...it's very sweet!

Playin' Video Games....

Swimming in our pool. Joshy did amazing! He is now swimming underwater! Ben, as you can see, is not as comfortable in the water yet. :)

Popsicles on the back porch...

Joshy lovin' on Hadley...

SUNDAY:

Going to the Aquarium...

Sometimes you have to improvise when you don't have a lot of "boy" toys to play with...

On Sunday, we went to the Aquarium, then lunch, naps, dinner, swimming, Cherry Berry for frozen yogurt, and fireworks show!

Waiting for the fireworks to start...

MONDAY:

On Monday, we celebrated Laura's birthday. All she wanted was for each of us to paint a canvas of her "tongue in cheek" picture she drew for us. It was really fun. I love to paint! Laura is a very good artist and they all turned out really good. She even drew and painted a canvas for Hadley's room...it is so precious! It is a picture of Hadley and her Jippee. TUESDAY:

On Tuesday, we went over to the Carllson's for lunch and some swimming. It is always nice when other people love on your child and we always have such a great time with them!

On Tuesday night, we went out to dinner with Poppy and Gigi and then back to their house for some play time before heading back to Tulsa.

i love my friends

I love my friends! The Lord has blessed Ross and I with some really great company here in Tulsa. We all got together for dinner last night, and I didn't realize how much I missed seeing them! Now that all of our husbands are on summer break, we all have been spending some much needed family time. HOWEVER, once school starts again, I know I will be seeing these ladies at least 2 or 3 times a week...sometimes even 4!

To My Friends,

Thank you for being my encouragement...someone to talk too...someone who knows what we all are going through...someone who will always meet up for lunch at Chick-fil-A...someone who understands when we just need to cry (or tear up telling a story :). You both have made this past year, not only tolerable, but so much fun! I love you!

Airika, Janelle, and Me

I did not get a picture of the three boys, but let me tell you, each one of them are pretty wonderful. I know we as the wives feel pretty grateful that our husbands choose to put their family first above anything else. I know I have said this before, but Ross has done an amazing job at balancing his school work and family time. I am so proud of him and his accomplishments! He is an amazing husband and father and I couldn't ask for anything more!

11 months

My Beautiful Girl,

You are growing up right before our eyes. You are getting quite the personality as well. I know you understand your daddy and I when we tell you "no ma'am" but you quickly sit on your bottom and look at us like, "I wasn't doing anything." Then you make your adorable fishy face and we can't help but cover you in kisses.

I think you are a bottomless pit! You love to eat! Yet you are still so petite...I don't know how you do it. You have started to feed yourself a lot more. You love to eat carrots, apples, garden tomato lil' crunchies, bean soup, and of course, velveta shells and cheese. You are still getting some formula in a bottle, but I'm so impressed and proud of you for learning how to drink out of a straw! We just skipped the sippee cup phase and went straight for the straw cups.

You are in the "cruiser" stage. You like to shuffle your little feet while holding on to the chairs or couch. You love playing with your toys in the living room. Since you are not walking yet, you usually put the toy/ring that you are playing with in your mouth while you are crawling to your new location. It's pretty cute! :)

You are still my little fishy. You love the water and you are learning how to "kick" so well. I think you have more of my skin tone, because you already have a tan line!

Mommy still can't get over your gorgeous blue eyes! They shine and sparkle every day! I love walking into your room every morning and seeing your beautiful face smiling back at me! You have a contagious smile and an even more contagious giggle! You are one of a kind!

I tried to get a picture of your naked biscuits when you were a baby, but you didn't have enough meat on your booty...(too much was exposed!) So that is why you are in your birthday suit for these pictures; however, you wouldn't sit still for more than a millisecond before you started crawling straight for me! I don't think you are ever going to be camera shy though...(I guess that is just like your mommy too :)

You are our beautiful girl! We love so much Hadley Bug! If every child was like you, I could definitely have a dozen. :) (But don't count on that many brothers or sisters.)
