California 2011

We took our first "family of 3" vacation this Summer! We went to California for my cousins wedding/cabin in the mountains. We had such a wonderful time together! We spent 5 days in San Francsico and then 7 days at our cabin in Arnold, California. When I got home, I downloaded my pictures and realized I had taken over 1200 pictures!!! To say the least, it is a little overwhelming to go through them and try to pick the very best for my blog. So, I have decided to blog about the trip one day at a time...

Tuesday, July 26, 2011:

Krystina flew with us. She was a big help with Hadley...here they are watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before we leave for the airport...

Excited to get on the plane...

This is why you don't jump out at someone when they are coming out of the bathroom! You will get a red handprint on your body from a very swift slapping!...

I love my best friend...

Ready for take off with formula in hand...

Hadley enjoyed sitting with "B" so she could look out the window...

These two pictures are for you Pop...

Hadley got to open a few early birthday presents from Courtney and Scott...

It's Jipette....

She also got a super cute outfit and converse from Uncle Donny and Auntie Katrin...

Stay tuned for more funny stories and great pictures to come!

Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine...OMM

There is the life-long great debate between D.O and M.D....which title is better to have behind your name? WELL...

I am definitely on the D.O. side...and that is not just because my husband is going to make one hot amazing D.O. doctor!

My back/scapula area has been killing me lately. All sorts of pinching and pulling and throbbing and I always feel like something needs to pop! Today, Ross came home from school, had me lay down on my back, do a few things with my arms....deep breath...let it out....B A M...pop pop pop pop! It was glorious! Everything felt right in the world again!

Thank you babe for learning such wonderful manipulation techniques that I get to sample for free! You are the best!

i have no shame...

Ross, Hadley and I spent the day running around town, eating out, and enjoying each other's company. We went to the mall and of course I had to stop by Brookstone to see what new gadgets they had....a.k.a I wanted to sit in the massage chair. This wasn't any old massage chair...it was the biggest massage chair that had it's own employee who never leaves its side. Needless to say it squeezed every muscle I have and I truly enjoyed it...I will say it...I have no shame :) (I'm asking for one for Christmas...it's only $3500...but for TODAY ONLY it was on sale for $3000!...what a steal!)

And this evening we went to Pottery Barn Kids, and I just had to try one of their adorable Halloween costumes on Hadley. She is such a cutie patootie I can't even stand it!

Hadley and her eight octopus legs...

Summer Nights...

Ross is starting his second year of Medical School tomorrow. Hadley and I have loved having him all to ourselves these past three months! We are definitely going to miss having him around during the day, but we are so proud of him and all he has accomplished! Here is how we have spent his last few Summer Nights...

Ice Cream Date to Braums...

Hadley loves her sweets....can't you tell?...

We went for a walk on Riverside and it was beautiful.

Hadley cooling of in the water/splash area...

(I honestly have no idea when my baby Hadley got this BIG!)

We met Paul, Natalie, and the kids for pizza at Hideaway, and then a trip to the mall...
