Can Your Husband Do This?

Thanksgiving this year was at my house, and I was so excited, because I love to be the hostess! Of course, I only had a table that would seat four, and that just wasn't going to do. SO, my husband offered to BUILD me a table! It is absolutely beautiful and it's exactly like the picture in my head!

Good job babe! I love how talented you are! Ross has officially built me 4 shelves, 1 huge mantel/shelf, 1 side table, 1 coffee table, and 1 dining table. (not to mention a huge work bench in the garage and shelves for all his tools) It's beautiful babe! Thank you!

Can Your Brother-In-Law Do This?

John Nathan is amazingly talented with computers/technology etc. He was gracious enough to spend his free time building me a computer...yes I said building!! So UPS dropped off several packages with nothing but ity bity parts...

John was able to take all the ity bity parts, while wearing a fabulous bracelet so not to shock himself, and put them all together in what once was an empty "tower".

The result being the most wonderful, beautiful, FAST, computer I have ever owned! I am so impressed and grateful!

Thank you John Nathan for my wonderful computer! I love it!!

Photography Props and Practice

I am loving my photography right now. I'm starting to get in the grove, and I'm learning SO SO SO much! I will say, it sure is easy to love taking photographs when you have such a cutie patootie for a subject...

We love to play outside...

She loves her daddy...

She is getting so good at jumping on the trampoline...

I ordered a Wireless Remote Shutter Release, so that I can take "family" pictures, without having to run back and forth to the camera EVERY time! Super Excited about that one!

I purchased some photo props a couple of months ago and today was the first day we broke them out. I Love Them!

Lately, I have been working on "Natural Light" photography. Learning how to adjust the aperture and shutter speeds, ISO, and white balance, and NOT using a flash....(look at me! just a few weeks ago I was totally lost...but now I at least know what all the terms mean and where they are on my camera!)

Here are a few practice photo's...without editing I might add...straight out of my camera!

I won a spot in a "Snapshops" class in a drawing at my MOPS meeting. I am super excited about it! It's three weeks long and I am eager to learn so much more about lighting/my camera/posing...all of it!!!

Halloween 2011

Halloween weekend started out with Joshua's soccer game on Sunday afternoon. I love to go watch him play soccer...(this is where I realized I am totally cut out to be the "soccer mom")

Hadley and I at the game...

Nana brought Hadley her very own chair...

Hadley clapping for Joshua Reuben...

After the game, Joshy took Hadley out on the field to play some soccer...

He is so precious with her...

Nana thought Hadley was cold, so she put a pair of Papa's socks on her...

On Monday, we went over to Laura and John's so Hadley could trick or treat with her cousins...

Bumblebee, A Bumble Bee, and a Ninja...

The cutest bug I have ever seen...

Modge Podge October

Modge Podge October! We have been super busy this month and loved every minute of it!

This is my Hadley Bug when we got her up from her nap...she is super crazy!

Every Tuesday Hadley and I, along with Natalie and Campbell, go to PBKids for Storybook Time...

This is one of the first pictures I took of Hadley, right after I realized she wasn't a baby anymore. :( She is my big girl! With her Toms, Jean Jacket, and Bow (with NO headband because she has hair now!)

Natalie invited us to go on Avery and Danes field trip to the pumpkin patch...and we love pumpkins!

Miss Campbell...

Me and Miss Avery...

Hadley riding a "horsey"...

They were so cute! They love playing together...

Hadley counting her pumpkins....

Avery squatted for the picture because she told me..."I am not sitting in the dirt."...
