Lake Alpine! Normally this lake is crystal clear with beautiful tree lines that can be viewed from across the water...but this day it was all hidden by smoke. The wind was blowing just right that day and the smoke covered everything. Even the pictures came out orange from the sun and smoke.
Even though it was smokey, we spent hours jumping from rock to rock and exploring. They had a mild winter so the water was down more than usual.
These rocks are normally underwater...

We decided to go back the next day to see if it was less smokey, so we could rent a canoe.
It was a beautiful day for a hike and a picnic...
First canoe ride...
