Photography Props and Practice

I am loving my photography right now. I'm starting to get in the grove, and I'm learning SO SO SO much! I will say, it sure is easy to love taking photographs when you have such a cutie patootie for a subject...

We love to play outside...

She loves her daddy...

She is getting so good at jumping on the trampoline...

I ordered a Wireless Remote Shutter Release, so that I can take "family" pictures, without having to run back and forth to the camera EVERY time! Super Excited about that one!

I purchased some photo props a couple of months ago and today was the first day we broke them out. I Love Them!

Lately, I have been working on "Natural Light" photography. Learning how to adjust the aperture and shutter speeds, ISO, and white balance, and NOT using a flash....(look at me! just a few weeks ago I was totally lost...but now I at least know what all the terms mean and where they are on my camera!)

Here are a few practice photo's...without editing I might add...straight out of my camera!

I won a spot in a "Snapshops" class in a drawing at my MOPS meeting. I am super excited about it! It's three weeks long and I am eager to learn so much more about lighting/my camera/posing...all of it!!!

Halloween 2011

Halloween weekend started out with Joshua's soccer game on Sunday afternoon. I love to go watch him play soccer...(this is where I realized I am totally cut out to be the "soccer mom")

Hadley and I at the game...

Nana brought Hadley her very own chair...

Hadley clapping for Joshua Reuben...

After the game, Joshy took Hadley out on the field to play some soccer...

He is so precious with her...

Nana thought Hadley was cold, so she put a pair of Papa's socks on her...

On Monday, we went over to Laura and John's so Hadley could trick or treat with her cousins...

Bumblebee, A Bumble Bee, and a Ninja...

The cutest bug I have ever seen...

Modge Podge October

Modge Podge October! We have been super busy this month and loved every minute of it!

This is my Hadley Bug when we got her up from her nap...she is super crazy!

Every Tuesday Hadley and I, along with Natalie and Campbell, go to PBKids for Storybook Time...

This is one of the first pictures I took of Hadley, right after I realized she wasn't a baby anymore. :( She is my big girl! With her Toms, Jean Jacket, and Bow (with NO headband because she has hair now!)

Natalie invited us to go on Avery and Danes field trip to the pumpkin patch...and we love pumpkins!

Miss Campbell...

Me and Miss Avery...

Hadley riding a "horsey"...

They were so cute! They love playing together...

Hadley counting her pumpkins....

Avery squatted for the picture because she told me..."I am not sitting in the dirt."...

15 months

My Sweet Bumble Bee,

These past few months you have bloomed into my beautiful "bumble bee." You bring more joy into mine and your daddy's life than you will ever know...(although I'm sure you will figure it out because we can't stop telling you how much we love you!)

You are officially 15 months old! I told your daddy we no longer have a baby...we have a tiny human/toddler running around our house!

Your vocabulary knows no bounds! You can pretty much repeat everything I say.

The list includes:
Dada
momma
Nana
papa
please
thank you
bite
juice
NO
NoNoNoNoNo (you like to use this one when another child is too far in your "bubble")
ball
baby
elmo
clifford AND ruff ruff :)
nose
eye
ice
lowa
avery (avewy)
outside

Mommy and Daddy were thinking about the time you spent in mommy's belly and how wonderful that was...maybe not at the beginning because mommy was super sick and swore she would never do this again...but I'm starting to change my mind...(not right now though :) The one thing that always sounded good and I ate constantly was Cinnamon Teddy Grahams. I wonder if you will like them too.

This year for Halloween you dressed up as a bumble bee and you had the cutest little hiney! I wasn't sure how you would feel with a hooded costume, but you loved it! You were running around laughing the minute we put it on you!

You love to play outside and you love to climb! You know how to "jump" on the trampoline and you love to dance to music!

You and I spend a lot a lot of time together and I cherish every moment! We like to play and tickle and laugh until we can't breath. Your laughter is so sweet and I am in love with the deep chuckles you reserve just for me!

You have learned the "sounds" that mean Daddy is home. You always get the biggest smile on your face and run straight into his arms. I love to watch the two of you love, play, and laugh together, because at that moment I know I am the most blessed Mommy and Wife in this world. You are our best girl...our bumble bee.
