OSU Medical School put on a "Spook-O-Ween" festival last night for the students and their families, so Ross, Hadley and I decided to go. Hadley was super excited to get dressed up. :) She was so cute, so of course we had to have a mini photo shoot...enjoy!

mushrooms...
I am not a big fan of mushrooms....My husband is not a big fan of mushrooms...So what do I make for dinner?!?....A Mushroom Lasagna! Hey...it looked good when Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa, made it...
Day 2: Affair of the Heart
I love Affair of the Heart. I never used to attend this event until about 3 or 4 years ago when I started going with my best friend Meredith! I consider myself a craftsy kind of person so this was right up my alley! Until this year, I pretty much went to look and if I liked something I bought it. THIS year, I was on a MISSION! I have a beautiful baby girl at home now who is 3 months old. She wanted me to buy her all sorts of pretty things from Affair of the Heart this year....so I did :) Notice out of everything I bought...only the watch is for me...but Hadley looks so darn cute in all of it!
This place was so GOOD! It hit the spot!

Day 1: A recent picture of yourself and 15 interesting facts
1. I have done gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading since I was 1 1/2 years of age.
2. Up until this year, I have coached cheerleading for the last 8 years.
3. I am a mother of ONE beautiful baby girl!
4. I have the most amazing husband, who knows me better than I know myself. (For example: while talking to him on the phone, he can usually tell me what I am wearing without even seeing me...a.k.a...my black Stanford sweat pants :)
5. I love my new white Geneva watch that I got at Affair of the Heart...it sparkles!
6. I have had the same best friend since I was in sixth grade at CHA!
7. I like to spend as much time with my family as possible.
8. I am a very organized person.
9. I like to have a plan.
10. I fall in love again with my daughter every morning when I go get her out of bed.
11. After hearing many horror stories, I think I had one of the easiest, best childbirth experiences. I went into the hospital at 6:30 am to be induced. I was already dilated to a 5. My doctor broke my water and said I could go ahead and get an epidural. I couldn't feel me legs...or anything for that matter!...pushed for an hour and Hadley was born!
12. I love to laugh. My husband and I laugh A LOT together!
13. I get excited about the little things.
14. I try to take everything in strides knowing that I am making a memory.
15. I absolutely love photography.

A Father...A Papa
On Sunday morning, Ross, Hadley, and I had the privilege of attending Choctaw Road Baptist Church with my parents. During the worship/singing portion of the service the Lord allowed me to experience a very special moment.
There was a little boy about 4 or 5 years old sitting in the row in front of us. He had turned around while we were singing and was watching my dad worship the Lord. My dad had raised his hand in praise and the little boy was mimicking my dad's actions. That moment actually brought me to tears. I was so touched with how truly impressionable little children can be, and what a great example of Christ my dad showed to that little boy.
Thank you daddy for showing Christ to me in your life, actions, hugs, and words. I am truly blessed to have you for a father, and I am so grateful for the example you are setting for my baby girl. She is lucky to have you for a Papa!
I love you!

My Hadley Girl...11 Weeks
Hadley girl you are 11 weeks old. You sleep in your crib on average 9 to 10 hours a night. You take about a 3 to 4 hour nap in the afternoon. You are all smiles :) You look like your mommy, except you have your daddy's beautiful blue eyes. You leave your mouth open in almost every picture....just like mommy used too :)
You like when I sing, "My sticky shoes" song to you...your whole face lights up. You can't stop staring at your left hand. You are fascinated at the fact that it is always in front of you and it moves all around. I don't think you have figured out that it is attached to you yet.
You have been able to hold your head up on your own pretty much since you were born. When we have "tummy time" you like to kick your leg in attempt to roll onto your back. You can roll from your back to your side, but that's about as far as you go right now.
I am so proud of you my sweet girl. I love that I get to spend all day with you! I love when we go jogging in Riverside. You enjoy being outside, but you try to hide from the sun. :)
The past three months have flown by, and you have been such a joy in your mommy and daddy's life!

My Reuben...The Straight Shooter
I got to see my beautiful babies this week...my Joshua Reuben and Benjamin Boo (a.k.a Winnice :) Joshy wanted me to put him to bed, so I walked him upstairs and there were no sheets on the bed. They were in a pile on the floor. This is how the conversation went...
Jessi: "John are these sheets dirty or can I put them back on the bed?"
John: "They should be on the bed, Joshy probably just pulled them off."
Joshua: "I didn't pull them off."
Jessi: "I suppose they just jumped off the bed by themselves?"
Joshy: (with a serious look) "No....Sheets can't jump."
I love it!!!!

State Fair 2010
I love fall! I love the State Fair! I love my family! We all went to the Great State Fair of Oklahoma, and we had such a wonderful time! We ate way too much...yet like every year I asked on the way home, "what's for dinner?" We sure missed papa this year...unfortunately he wasn't able to come :( I'm so glad Hadley was able to enjoy her first State Fair ever!
Where is Jessi?
"B" got caught red handed with two ice cream cones!
My three babies!
