We spent the day together on Saturday, taking pictures, shopping, eating lunch at Utica Square, and getting frozen yogurt at Cherry Berry. You love strawberry frozen yogurt!
At this point, you thought it was more fun to eat grass than to smile for the camera!
You can officially maneuver yourself from a laying down position, to a sitting position. You can not crawl yet; however, every time I turn around you are in a different position and different place in the room. You are starting to pull yourself into a standing position too, which means daddy better lower your crib mattress soon!
You have a ticklish neck, just like your mommy. When I lightly touch/stroke your neck, you wrinkle your nose and shrug your shoulders, and let out a big sigh as if you can't even speak until I stop touching your neck. (mommy does that too)
I love the special laughs and giggles you save just for me. They are so precious to mommy, and they are sweet to my ears.
You spend every Sunday morning in the church nursery. Mommy had a hard time leaving you there at first, and there were definitely some tears shed. (not by you...only by mommy). Every time I pick you up after church, your teacher just can't say enough about how great you were! They all want to take you home with them! I love hearing how you were such a good girl with a sweet spirit. That makes mommy so proud of you.
You are still an excellent sleeper. I think you love to snuggle because you always end up with your head smashed into one of the four corners of your crib. You just like to cuddle with your bootie still up in the air!
The "cuddle" stage you were going through at 7 and 8 months has definitely passed. You are now onto "pushing". You like to use your feet and both hands and PUSH yourself away from mine and your daddy's body while we are holding you. You are not being hateful, I just think you are going to be a very "busy" little girl. :)
You have a new smile. When mommy says "cheese" you wrinkle your nose and close your eyes and I get to see all 4 teeth! You also have a "fake cough". I love that you are my little ham! You can always make your daddy and I smile. :)
Hadley, your daddy and I love you very much. You are a very special girl, and don't you ever forget that. Your sweet spirit shines through your beautiful blue eyes, and there is such a sense of purity about you. I can't believe you are 9 months! That is how long you lived in mommy's belly, while God was making you perfect for us! You were definitely "hand picked" by God just for me and your daddy. We love you!
