My Hadley Bug is 5 1/2 months! She is as beautiful as ever! I was going to try and wait until her official "6 month" post, but she has had so many milestones, that I just couldn't wait any longer!
Hadley, you weigh 15 1/2 lbs. You have officially overcome your first sickness. It was terrible watching you suffer, and I am so excited you are feeling better. You are definitely back to your joyful little self.
You have a TOOTH! Today was the first day I could feel it and SEE it! It is coming in on the bottom front. You put EVERYTHING in your mouth! When mommy picks you up, you grab hold of her shirt and start chewing on it.
You are eating 3 tablespoons of rice cereal every morning on top of your regular bottles. You are excellent with a spoon. You never give mommy any trouble. :) If you are anything like your mommy, I'm sure that will change.
BIG MILESTONE: On December 26, 2010...you ROLLED OVER for the first time! Mommy, Daddy, and Papa were watching football. Mommy put you on your back on your play yard, looked away for one second, and when I looked back you were on your tummy! You roll over all the time now. You have not figured out how to roll from your tummy to your back yet. (Because of this, mommy has to flip you back over several times during your nap...you just learn to sleep on your tummy during the night :)
You are full of smiles and laughter! You bring mommy and daddy so much joy! It has been a privilege getting to spend everyday with you my bug! We love you!
Nana loves your pictures. Your little toes are precious and look like your mommy's feet. Your tutu and your smile are so pretty. But, Nana wants you to be prepared to wear that tutu when you are a senior in high school. It will probably still fit!!!!
