What a wonderful day! On Saturday, my family got together at my mom's house to celebrate Easter, April Birthday's, and Mother's (Nana) day. I love being together with my family...no matter what we do, we always have a good time together...AND it is always interesting and never lacks excitement!

For the past nine months, my mom has wanted pictures of all three grandchildren together. Every time the family is together, she tries to get them one, but usually one or more are crying, not looking at the camera, making a weird face, etc. For Mother's (Nana) day, we decided to give her something very special....and she loved it :)
I love my family and feel so blessed to have such wonderful, supportive, loving, encouraging, people in my life. There is never a dull moment with us...if you watch the videos in the next post...you will understand :)
I must preface one of the videos. Since, we hide eggs every year for the kids to find, I thought it would be fun to have Joshua hide ONE egg for the adults to find. This was a camoflouge egg filled with $40. All the adults were inside while Nana, Benjamin, and Joshua hid the egg. When it came time to come outside and find the egg, we all lined up as my dad said, "You better go ahead and go because John's already gone out the back door!" And that is where the video of us screaming and starting to run begins.
As we are all looking high and low for this one egg, we are secretly keeping Benjamin and Joshua in the corner of our eye, just incase they may give a hint or too as to where the egg was. I see Benjamin looking at the tree, so I run over there only to be greeted by John who begins to shake the branches hoping an egg would fall from the sky. Joshua unkowingly gives me a little hint by saying, "it's not this way...it's not this direction...it's somwhere else" which means i'm close. :)
Apparently around this time, Krystina flat out asks Benjamin where the egg was and he said, "it's in the leaves" and pointed in the direction of the egg. In the video it is hard to tell what is going on, however you see me uncover the egg, followed by my 200lb husband who charges at me, pinning me up against the fence and the thorn bushes! I have cuts down the back of my arm to prove it! (you will know when it happens because of the blood curling scream :)
The good new is...I Found The Egg! I won! However, it did come at a price.
Enjoy!
